What is Nephrology?
Nephrology is a branch of medicine concerning the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, including electrolyte disturbances and hypertension, and the care of those requiring dialysis or renal replacement therapy.

  • Detectable protein and blood in the urine (proteinuria and hematuria)
  • Leg and facial swelling( Nephrotic Syndrome)
  • Impaired kidney function( high creatinine/ low GFR)
  • Uncontrolled hypertension
  • Potential kidney transplant recipient/donor
