When to Call for an Ambulance
Dial our emergency hotline if you notice life-threatening symptoms or severe injuries :
There are signs of a potentially life-threatening condition. (e.g. chest pain may indicate a heart attack; sudden weakness on one side may suggest a stroke)
The patient has severe injuries or cannot be safely moved. (e.g. suspected spinal, neck, or major limb injuries)
If the condition is urgent but not life-threatening, administer first aid if possible and bring the patient directly to our 24-hour Emergency Department for further care.

What Happens When You Arrive at Our A&E Department
1. Assessment (Triage)
Our triage nurse or paramedic will assess your condition, check vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, breathing rate), and registers you for priority-based care. Some procedures or tests may require fasting; please consult the triage nurse before eating or drinking.
2. Receiving Treatment
A doctor will attend to you as soon as possible and order necessary tests or imaging. Depending on your condition, you may:
- Be discharged with home care instructions and scheduled for follow-up, or
- Be admitted for observation, further treatment, or surgery.
Patients requiring urgent care will be prioritised, though our team will minimise waiting time for all.
3. Post-Treatment Care
If discharged, you will receive instructions for home care and follow-up appointments. If your condition worsens, return to the A&E Department immediately or call our emergency hotline for assistance.
